Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 August 2026
1. Who we are
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are between you and Slippie Software (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/639089/07), trading as Slippie, of Riebeek Kasteel, Western Cape, South Africa (“we”, “us”, “our”). Contact: dewald@slippie.co.za.
Slippie is software that helps accounting, bookkeeping and tax firms request, remind and file client documents over WhatsApp and a client portal.
2. Agreement
By using this website, creating an account, or buying a Slippie subscription, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you buy for a firm, you confirm you are authorised to bind that firm.
3. What you get
A paid plan is a subscription to the Slippie software-as-a-service described on our pricing page. Each plan includes a dedicated WhatsApp number, unlimited staff users, and the active-client limit and utility-message allowance listed for that plan. Custom work, onboarding packages, and founding-pilot offers are only included if we agree them with you in writing.
4. Prices and checkout
Published prices are on slippie.co.za/pricing: Starter R599 / £29 / $39 per month, Growth R1,199 / £55 / $79 per month, Practice R2,499 / £115 / $159 per month. Annual billing is ten times the monthly price (pay 10, get 12). Amounts charged may include tax for your location.
Paid subscriptions are sold by Slippie Software (Pty) Ltd, except USD plans paid through Creem, where Creem is the seller on the transaction. GBP monthly plans can be paid through PayPal checkout on this website. ZAR monthly plans can be paid through PayFast checkout on this website. USD monthly and yearly plans can be paid through Creem checkout on this website. Do not send card details to us by email.
5. Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by emailing dewald@slippie.co.za. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period already paid. We may suspend or cancel a subscription for non-payment, abuse, or material breach.
6. Refunds
Refunds are described on our Refund Policy page. That policy forms part of these Terms.
7. Pilot bookings
Requesting a pilot on this website is not a paid subscription until we agree paid terms in writing. We may accept or decline pilot requests.
8. Your responsibilities
You must provide accurate account details, keep login credentials secure, and use Slippie only for lawful professional work. You must not misuse the service (including attempting to access other firms’ data, sending unlawful WhatsApp content, or attacking the site). You remain responsible for WhatsApp template wording staying transactional / utility where required by Meta.
9. Client data
When a firm uses Slippie to request and store client documents, the firm is the responsible party under POPIA and Slippie acts as an operator on the firm’s instructions. See our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual property
The Slippie name, logo, software, and site content are owned by Slippie Software (Pty) Ltd or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the service during a paid subscription. We do not claim ownership of documents you or your clients upload.
11. No professional advice
Slippie is a workflow tool. Content on this website is general product information, not tax, legal, or accounting advice.
12. Availability and liability
We aim for a reliable service but do not warrant uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from the website or the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under South African law or under consumer law that applies to you. Our aggregate liability for a paid subscription is limited to the fees you paid for that subscription in the three months before the claim.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top is the latest version. Material changes to a paid subscription will be emailed to the billing contact where we have it. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Courts of South Africa have jurisdiction, without limiting any non-waivable consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
